Agência Minas Gerais | Educação promove campanha Maio Amarelo para conscientização sobre o trânsito nas escolas da rede estadual
4 de maio de 2024A Secretaria de Estado de Educação de Minas Gerais (SEE/MG) aderiu à campanha conhecida nacional e internacionalmente como Movimento Maio Amarelo, voltada para a prevenção de acidentes e valorização do trânsito mais seguro.
As ações pedagógicas desenvolvidas pela SEE/MG para a campanha são embasadas nas diretrizes do Observatório Nacional de Segurança Viária, instituição que já realiza, há 11 edições, ações voltadas para a efetiva educação para o trânsito, que está inserida na temática Contemporânea Transversal, contido no Currículo Referência de Minas Gerais.
Com o tema “Paz no Trânsito Começa por Você”, o Maio Amarelo de 2024 promove a inclusão da sociedade no debate sobre a responsabilidade das ações individuais na construção de um trânsito mais seguro e pacífico para todos.
“Nossa ação, que trabalha essa temática de prevenção, envolve todos os estudantes da rede, desde o 1º ano do ensino fundamental até o ensino médio e Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA). Acreditamos que essa sensibilização deve ser trabalhada já a partir da infância”, afirma a coordenadora de Temáticas Especiais e Transversalidade Curricular da SEE/MG, Rosália Diniz.
A campanha maio amarelo é desenvolvida em uma ação conjunta com os órgãos de segurança e trânsito do Estado de Minas Gerais, como é o caso da Polícia Civil, Polícia Militar, Departamento de Estradas e Rodagem (DER), Departamento Estadual de Trânsito (Detran) e demais órgãos de trânsito.
