Controladoria-Geral do Município realiza palestras em comemoração aos 12 anos da Lei de Acesso à Informação – Agência de Notícias

A Lei de Acesso à Informação (LAI) completa neste ano 12 anos de vigência e, diante disso, a Controladoria-Geral do Município (CGM), em parceria com a Escola de Gestão Pública (EGP), realizou, na manhã desta quinta-feira (16), duas palestras relativas ao tema, para servidores que atuam em secretarias municipais. O evento ocorreu no Salão de Vidro do Paço Municipal.
A advogada Dra. Marina Elaine Pereira foi a primeira a palestrar, sobre o tema “Como as Ouvidorias devem aplicar a Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (LGPD)”. Realizou considerações sobre a legislação, explicando os principais conceitos e fundamentos, com ênfase nos aspectos para o tratamento e proteção de dados no âmbito das atividades de Ouvidoria Pública.
Em seguida, o Procurador do Estado Chefe da Consultoria Jurídica da Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Estado de São Paulo, Dr. Levi de Mello, falou sobre o “Diálogo entre a Lei de Acesso à Informação e a Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (LAI e LGPD)”. Ele abordou os direitos constitucionais referentes às duas leis e apresentou a cronologia de sua implementação na legislação brasileira, assim como abrangência e importância delas como método de controle social.
Lei de Acesso à Informação Pública
A Lei de Acesso à Informação Pública (Lei Federal nº 12.527, de 18 de novembro de 2011) tem por objetivo dar maior transparência às ações desenvolvidas pelo Poder Público Executivo, Legislativo e Judiciário, nas esferas Federal, Estadual e Municipal, inclusive as instituições privadas que recebam recursos financeiros do poder público, representando importante passo para a consolidação do regime democrático e para o fortalecimento das políticas de transparência.
No Portal da Transparência, é possível encontrar informações sobre como o dinheiro público é utilizado, além de se informar sobre assuntos relacionados à gestão pública municipal. No site, a população pode conferir, por exemplo, a Remuneração dos Servidores Públicos, Licitações e Contratos, Informações de Receitas e Despesas, entre outros assuntos. Por exemplo, no link “Despesas”, o cidadão pode saber como cada secretaria municipal aplica seu orçamento.
